Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms cover your use of Watt48, including the power station calculator and the sizing guide. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What Watt48 provides
Watt48 is a free planning tool. It estimates the battery capacity, continuous output, and startup surge a set of devices needs, and compares those requirements with published power station specifications. You don’t need an account, there’s nothing to pay, and Watt48 doesn’t sell power stations or any other products.
Estimates, not guarantees
Results are estimates for planning. They rely on typical device wattages, the run times you enter, and documented assumptions about inverter losses, usable battery capacity, and temperature, all described in the methodology on the results page. Real-world runtime varies with each device’s actual draw, the battery’s age, the weather, and how the equipment is used.
Before you buy or rely on a power station:
- confirm its specifications with the manufacturer;
- check the wattage on your own devices’ labels or in their manuals;
- don’t rely on an estimate alone for medical equipment, such as a CPAP machine, or for anything where losing power could put someone’s health or safety at risk. Confirm the power needs with the equipment’s manufacturer or your healthcare provider, and keep a backup plan.
Electrical safety
Watt48 offers general information, not professional electrical advice. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for every power station and device. Connecting any power source to a home’s electrical system should be done only by a licensed electrician using approved equipment.
Product information and prices
Product specifications, photos, and prices come from the public GalaxyAX/power-station dataset. Watt48 refreshes its copy regularly, but the information may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong.
Prices are shown in US dollars, can change at any time, and aren’t an offer to sell. Watt48 isn’t a seller: any purchase is between you and the seller you choose, on that seller’s terms.
Links to other websites
Watt48 links to manufacturers’ websites and other third-party sites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, prices, or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Watt48 isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its estimates, including buying a power station that doesn’t meet your needs.
